The challenge

Most online horoscopes are texts written in advance and reused. The idea here was to start from the real sky, calculated for that very day, then put it into words.

The site also had to cover everything else: birth charts, numerology, tarot, dreams, palm reading. Over 1,700 addresses, a members’ area and purchases, all easy to read on a phone.

What was built

• A Next.js site written from scratch, with its own database.
• The daily horoscope calculated from the real position of the planets, using a reference astronomy library.
• Birth charts, synastry and astrocartography calculated to the minute and to the place of birth.
• Tarot, oracle, rune and I Ching readings: you shuffle, cut and pick your cards on screen.
• A dream told out loud and interpreted by artificial intelligence, and a palm reading from a photo guided by the camera.
• A members’ area with email login, a Premium subscription and one-off purchases through Stripe.
• A page detailing the calculations, their sources, and what is written by AI.

What the site does

1. Visitors see the day’s sky: the Sun, the Moon, its phase, the planets in retrograde.
2. They calculate their chart with their town and time of birth, including the daylight saving time of the period.
3. They know what is calculated and what is written by AI: it’s explained on the site.
4. They try it for free, then go Premium or buy a single reading.
