The challenge

Laurine photographs mums-to-be, families and couples in natural light, between Nice and Saint-Laurent-du-Var. Her site had to make people want to book from the very first image.

Many visitors arrive from Instagram, whose built-in browser struggles with large photos. The images had to look beautiful and the site had to open fast. Then, after the shoot, she needed a simple way to hand the photos over to each client.

What was built

• A WordPress theme designed for her, in the colours of her logo, with no page builder.
• A page per shoot: maternity, family, couple, portrait, wedding, christening and events.
• A packages page: for each one, the price, the length of the shoot, the location and the number of photos delivered.
• Every photo served at the size of the screen, in WebP, so the site opens fast even from Instagram.
• A portfolio, an About page, an FAQ, and two pages for maternity photography in Saint-Laurent-du-Var and Cagnes-sur-Mer.
• Private galleries: she creates the gallery from her phone, and clients open their photos by scanning a QR code.

What the site does

1. Visitors see the four types of shoot straight away and can compare them.
2. Each package states its price, its length and what is delivered, with its own booking button.
3. On a phone, they call or book from the bar at the bottom of the screen.
4. After the shoot, they scan their QR code and download their photos, with no account to create.
